The Stiebel Eltron EG-50-TR2-PM is the mechanically controlled version of the same 2 kW floor convector, sized for rooms of roughly 25 square metres. A mechanical thermostat covers 5 to 35 °C with a 2 °C switching differential and a 7 °C frost protection position, which is simpler to live with than an electronic panel and keeps working without a display to fail. The rust-resistant stainless steel tubular element with steel fins sits in a metal housing, and it is TÜV Süd tested.
